University of Southern California – Lusk Center for Real Estate

The Borstein Family Foundation has supported the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate for over 20 years. In addition to annual grants, the foundation funded a $3,000,000 endowment in 2007 directed toward creating a real estate case series. To date, over sixty cases have been developed and 35 have been taught in classrooms. It is estimated by USC that over 500 students have used almost 5,000 cases over the 12 years since the endowment was created.

Outside of the university, students will have access to twenty of the cases upon publication of Chris Redfearn’s textbook titled “Underwriting Commercial Real Estate in a Dynamic Market: Case Studies.”
