Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
The Borstein Family Foundation has supported the LA Food Bank since 2013. This four year commitment was made in 2018 and supports the functions of the Food Bank, including acquisition, storage, transportation and distribution of millions of pounds of food every month to 260,000 people through their 650 partner agencies. It also supports their direct service programs to 40,000 children and seniors every month and their Nutrition Continuum Programs, which address health, education and policy issues related to hunger. Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has distributed more than 1 billion pounds of food.
